In this edition, we highlight Simply Serene Wellness & Aesthetics, a comprehensive aesthetic and wellness clinic located in Sauk Rapids that offers injectable treatments, regenerative therapies, and integrative health services — all delivered with a strong emphasis on safety, natural outcomes, and patient experience.
Background
Thom Bieniek, APRN, CNP, has spent more than 15 years in healthcare with nearly six of those years dedicated to aesthetics. What started as a genuine passion for helping people feel confident in their own skin quickly grew into a career centered around education, empowerment, and elevating the standards of aesthetic medicine.
In 2019, he founded Simply Serene Wellness & Aesthetics in Central Minnesota with the intention of creating a space that blends clinical excellence with a personalized, relationship-driven approach.
Today, Bieniek oversees multiple RN-operated aesthetic practices throughout Minnesota and continues to expand his role as a medical director and educator. Simply Serene has become the foundation for that growth — anchoring Bieniek’s commitment to blending wellness with aesthetics and helping clients and clinicians alike feel supported, informed and empowered.
Relationship With SCFCU
When Bieniek opened his practice, he intentionally chose SCFCU as a business partner to be able to work with a local financial institution rather than a large bank. Community has always been at the heart of Simply Serene, and it felt important to partner with a credit union that reflects those same values — personal, approachable and invested in the people they serve.

By 2024, Simply Serene grew out of its original space and began the search for a new location. SCFCU was there for them every step of the way, supporting Simply Serene in the process of securing an SBA Loan for the first time. SCFCU walked them through every step of the process, educating along the way and genuinely looking out for what was best for the business.
