Our Core Values
Our Rich History
Serving Central Minnesota for more than 96 years, we began serving postal employees in 1930 and expanded to people who live, work, worship or attend school in Stearns, Benton, Sherburne, Wright, Meeker, Kandiyohi, and Morrison counties over time.
Our credit union’s core values support our mission to leverage our not-for-profit financial cooperative to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people and our communities.
We are proud to serve members in Central Minnesota with five branches in St. Cloud, Sartell, Sauk Rapids, Becker, and Albertville. At St. Cloud Financial Credit Union, we're more than just a financial institution—we're your neighbors, and neighbors look out for one another.

Who We Are
A credit union is a member-owned financial cooperative that is created and operated by members and shares profits with owners — you! When you join a credit union, you become a member and owner — and once a member, you're a member for life.
How does a credit union differ from a bank?
A bank is privately owned by an individual, a family, or a group of investors or stockholders. The profits from a bank belong to the private owners, who are free to invest the profits back into the bank or take them for themselves. In the case of large banks, those profits usually leave our local area and do not benefit the local economy.
Board of Directors
The credit union is governed by a local Board of Directors that establishes , reviews, and enforces policy. These directors are credit union members, annually elected by the membership, who generously give their time in the name of the credit union philosophy of "People Helping People.”

Everyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Stearns, Benton, Sherburne, Wright, Meeker, Kandiyohi, and Morrison counties is eligible for membership. Those who make a donation to our TriUnity Foundation are also eligible, regardless of where you’re located. We invite everyone to join!
