TriUnity Foundation Seeking Grant Applications for Those Facing Terminal Illness

TriUnity Foundation is currently seeking applications for a grant opportunity intended to support members who are navigating a terminal or life-threatening illness.

For a limited time, TriUnity Foundation — a nonprofit founded by St. Cloud Financial Credit Union (SCFCU) that seeks to alleviate the financial burden for those facing terminal illnesses — is accepting applications through September 15 for $35,000 in grants, varying from $2,500 to $10,000.

For this cycle of applications, designated funds and grants will support SCFCU’s members, women 18 years of age or older and for local veterans.

A portion of the grant money is from the Dancing With Our Stars fundraiser in 2025, which SCFCU Director of Multicultural Services Eunice Adjei took part in last June in support of TriUnity Foundation.

Another portion of the grant money is from St. Cloud Rox Military Appreciation Night in 2025, where SCFCU and Advantage 1 Insurance teamed up with the Rox to raise funds through a jersey auction in support of TriUnity Foundation and local veterans. SCFCU will once again be raising funds through this partnership in 2026.

TriUnity Foundation understands discussing personal health matters, especially those related to a life-threatening diagnosis, can be a deeply emotional and challenging experience, so we designed a confidential application reviewed by an independent committee to help understand applicants’ circumstances without being too difficult to complete.

At TriUnity Foundation, we believe in the power of unity to foster hope, healing and strength for those facing life’s most challenging circumstances. If you or someone you know may qualify, the foundation encourages you to apply today by clicking here.

“What this grant gave us most was comfort, dignity, and the chance to keep living life in the little ways people often take for granted,” said a grant recipient from a past grant cycle.  “Because of this generous grant, we were able to enjoy the simple parts of life again — pizza nights, ice cream, and moments of normalcy. Sometimes support isn’t about something big — it’s about giving a family room to breathe.”
