SCFCU's Chase Larson Joins Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors
St. Cloud Financial Credit Union continues to deepen its involvement throughout Central Minnesota and beyond, with its leaders and employees serving organizations that make a meaningful difference in the communities we call home.
The latest example of that commitment comes from SCFCU Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer Chase Larson, who has joined the Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity (CMHFH) Board of Directors.
As part of the Board of Directors, Larson will help provide strategic leadership and governance to ensure CMHFH remains focused on its mission and is positioned for long-term success.
“I’m honored to join the Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors and support an organization that changes lives by helping families build strength, stability and independence through homeownership,” Larson said. “Having a safe, affordable place to call home creates opportunities that extend far beyond four walls — it strengthens families, neighborhoods and the region we call home.
I look forward to working alongside the board, staff and volunteers to help further Habitat’s mission and make a meaningful difference for those we serve. Because when our community is stronger, we are all stronger.”
The Board of Directors works in partnership with Executive Director Chad Bouley to establish the organization’s vision and strategic priorities, ensure sound financial stewardship and uphold strong governance and accountability.
As ambassadors in the community, board members like Larson leverage their expertise, relationships and leadership to advance affordable homeownership and expand Habitat for Humanity’s impact across Central Minnesota.
“We are thrilled to welcome Chase to the Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors,” Bouley said. “Chase is a proven leader in our community, and his vision, creativity, and passion for serving others will be tremendous assets as we continue to grow our impact. We are excited to have him helping shape the future of our organization and advancing our mission throughout Central Minnesota.”
SCFCU has been partnering with CMHFH for more than a decade, with the partnership demonstrated through donations, volunteering, raising awareness throughout the community of both the great need for affordable housing and the ways CMHFH is making affordable homeownership possible in our community. CMHFH also named SCFCU its 2024 Business Partner of the Year.
Larson joining the Board of Directors represents another way SCFCU is putting its commitment to community into action — both with CMHFH and beyond — while extending involvement beyond the walls of the credit union and into organizations creating lasting impact for the people and communities we serve.
