SCFCU President and CEO Jed Meyer Named Finalist for Credit Union Times 2025 Luminaries Awards

St. Cloud Financial Credit Union is proud to announce that President and CEO Jed Meyer has been named a finalist for the Credit Union Times’ 2025 Luminaries Awards.

The Credit Union Times Luminaries Awards honor industry professionals, credit unions and world-class service organizations across the country that are changing the cooperative financial services industry for the better.

The award shines a spotlight on individuals, teams, projects and organizations that have significantly enhanced the not-for-profit financial cooperative landscape and recognizes those that have raised the bar within the credit union sphere by driving positive change and inspiring others to follow suit.

Among the record-breaking amount of nominations submitted in 2025, Credit Union Times named Meyer a finalist under the “Executive Leadership – Credit Union CEO” category, joining a list of select few CEOs across the country. Winners in each category will be announced during the fourth annual Credit Union Times Luminaries Awards Gala on Nov. 6 in Florida.

“The credit union movement will face more changes and innovation in the next 10 years than it has over the past 20 years. To be recognized among the top CEOs in our industry pushing our movement forward is simply humbling,” Meyer said. “More importantly, I commend my fellow nominees. They are the leaders across our industry who are innovating and moving our movement forward. The credit union movement must continue to evolve if we are to serve people tomorrow as faithfully as we do today. I’m grateful for this recognition and see it as a shared win — and a reminder to keep building a thriving cooperative future.”

Meyer is a visionary leader with over 25 years of experience in banking and credit unions. Since 2014, he has served as President and CEO of SCFCU, leading the institution through more than 400 percent organic growth while maintaining its mission-driven, people-first culture. Meyer’s expertise in strategic planning, lending, and fintech innovation has positioned SCFCU as an industry leader in digital transformation and community impact.

Meyer’s contributions have earned him recognition as Sartell Citizen of the Year (2019), St. Cloud Times 5 Under 40 (2015), and CU Times Trailblazer Under 40 (2015), along with being recognized by various publications as the "CEO to Watch" and “Business Leader to Watch.” A graduate of the University of Minnesota Duluth, he holds dual bachelor’s degrees in psychology and communications.
