The holidays can be a wonderful time of the year, but they can also be a little tough on your budget. If you're feeling the after-effects of the extra expenses from the holidays, St. Cloud Financial Credit Union is here to help!
Start the new year by give your budget a break and starting the new year with a little extra breathing room. In January or February, your local credit union is offering you the chance to skip your monthly loan payments with Skip-A-Pay!
To do so, all you have to do is log into your online banking and follow these steps:
In the navigation bar on desktop, click “Transfer & Bill Pay.” On mobile devices, click “More” and click “Transfer & Bill Pay”
Click “Skip a Pay".”
Fill out the request form
For each loan payment skipped this month, $15 of the $45 processing fee will be donated to a local charity. If you have any questions, visit your local SCFCU branch or call us at 320-252-2634.
Eligibility Requirements: You must be a member in good standing. Your loan must not have had any late payments in the last 12 months. A maximum of six payments can be skipped during the life of the loan, with no more than two per calendar year. If you want to skip one month’s payment, the loan must have at least six months of payments made. If you want to skip two monthly payments on a loan, the loan must have at least 12 months of payments made. Interest will continue to accrue on the outstanding balance of your loan(s) until paid in full. Skipping a payment may increase the number of remaining loan payments. 1st Mortgage Products, 2nd Mortgage Products, HELOC Products, Business Loan Products, Commercial/SBA Products, AFG Products, Extra Mile Products, Anytime Access and Credit Cards are excluded from this offer.
