Making a Meaningful Difference — Grey Face Rescue & Retirement

At SCFCU, we are here for you as your local credit union beyond your financial needs. One way of doing that is through our Meaningful Difference Initiative, which encourages employees to deepen connections with members.

In August 2025, SCFCU member Bethie spoke with Bekah at our Sauk Rapids branch while dealing with the hardship of the recent passing of her father. Weeks later, Bethie returned to the Sauk Rapids branch for what she thought would be a regular transaction — only to be greeted with a surprise from Bekah, who put together a gift to let Bethie know SCFCU was thinking of her and is here for her.

But we didn't want to stop there — because we care for our members, our local businesses and our communities. In December 2025, we had the honor of surprising Bethie with a $2,000 donation for her non-profit, Grey Face Rescue & Retirement, so they can continue to make a meaningful difference for animals in need and families who adopt them.
