SCFCU, St. Cloud Rox and Advantage 1 Insurance Raise $11,170 for Local Veterans
St. Cloud Financial Credit once again teamed up with the St. Cloud Rox and Advantage 1 Insurance for Rox Military Appreciation Night on Aug. 1 in St. Cloud, an annual night that raises funds through a jersey auction in support of local veterans and their families.
Throughout July and again on Military Appreciation Night, Rox players and coaches wore special USA-themed jerseys that were auctioned off prior to the game and during the game against the Badlands Big Sticks.
This year, all net proceeds from the jersey auction went towards benefiting local veterans through two life-changing nonprofits: TriUnity Foundation and Freedom Flight. Proceeds raised will be split 50/50 between both organizations.
By the end of the night, a record total of $11,170 was raised in support of local veterans and their families. Both the TriUnity Foundation and Freedom Flight will now use those funds raised to provide grants to veterans in our community.

Freedom Flight is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that flies hot air balloons to support the Prisoner of War / Missing in Action issues. Privately funded by donors, Freedom Flight is run 100% by volunteers. Everything from the pilots, the crew, the artwork, the website and the events are all developed by volunteers.
