SCFCU Named Readers' Choice for Best Credit Union in 2026

St. Cloud Financial Credit Union is proud to announce it has been voted best credit union by the members and communities we serve.

The Monticello Times, whose circulation coverage includes Monticello and the surrounding area — including Becker and Albertville — has announced its annual Readers’ Choice Awards, awards voted on by readers and subscribers of the publication over a six-week voting period.

Among the list of 2026 award winners, SCFCU was voted on by readers, members and the community as Best Credit Union.

“Being voted best credit union by the community we're proud to serve is special because it reflects the trust our members place in us every day,” said Heather Helmbrecht, SCFCU Market Manager and Business Development Manager in Becker. “Our team works hard to create genuine relationships, be there for our members and communities, and help our members succeed. To see that effort recognized by the people we serve in this way is incredibly meaningful.”

This marks the second straight year SCFCU has been named Readers’ Choice Best Credit Union, also receiving the recognition in 2025.
