SCFCU's Franco Cusipag Named 2025 CFO of the Year Honoree
St. Cloud Financial Credit Union is proud to announce that Chief Financial Officer Franco Cusipag has been named a 2025 CFO of the Year Honoree.
The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal, which annually honors and recognizes outstanding financial leaders across Minnesota, recently released its list of honorees for the 2025 CFO of the Year Awards, with Cusipag among the 20 individuals selected. All of the honorees will be recognized at an event in November.
"Being a CFO isn't only about providing accounting services to the organization. A good CFO tries to create lasting impact through leadership, organizational culture and community involvement,” Cusipag said. “It is about improving organizational business and financial acumen, providing decision-able information to leadership and employees to drive change.”
The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal debuted the CFO of the Year Awards in 2007 as a way to honor financial leaders within organizations large and small. These awards recognize CFOs statewide as a crucial part of a company’s leadership team. Nominees were evaluated by a judging panel consisting of other financial executives and specialists who scored each nominee based on their contributions to their companies and the broader community.
“From the moment he joined our executive team at SCFCU, Franco has shown incredible leadership, financial expertise, strategic vision and unwavering dedication to giving back to our members, employees and communities,” SCFCU President and CEO Jed Meyer said. “We are proud of Franco for being recognized as one of the 2025 CFOs of the Year. The honor is a true reflection of his impact and dedication in strengthening our credit union and positioning us for long-term success.”
Cusipag has two decades of experience in the financial industry, five years of which have been as a Chief Financial Officer. Cusipag has been the CFO of SCFCU since 2023.
