St. Cloud Financial Credit Union is proud to announce that Member Advisor Allison Baatz has been recognized for her involvement with the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce over the years.

Baatz was recently named one of the 2024 Honorees by the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce, an honor she received during the Annual Chamber Celebration on Oct. 8 at Holiday Inn & Suites in St. Cloud.

The St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce annually recognizes outstanding Chamber volunteer leaders during its Annual Chamber Celebration, with the program also recognizing outgoing Board of Directors members and Chamber committee and division chairs.

"Allison's dedication to learning, leadership, and the development of future leaders is truly inspiring. In her short time with us, she has exemplified our Core Values by continuously improving processes, supporting her teammates, and leading by example,” said SCFCU Sartell Branch Manager Brandon Kuschel. “Her passion for excellence is evident in everything she does, and I have no doubt that she will continue to achieve great things throughout her career. I am fortunate to be a part of watching her continued development shine, and we are proud to see her recognized by the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce."

Baatz, who has been involved with the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce since 2019 and most recently served as Chair of the Next — Chamber’s Young Professionals Group, has been with SCFCU since 2023. As a Member Advisor at SCFCU, Baatz works with members on opening personal and business accounts and loans, as well as directly dealing with IRA’s, HSA’s and more.

“Being a part of this Chamber group for the last five years was an amazing learning and growing experience overall,” Baatz said. “I didn’t know what to expect when I first joined, but since then I learned a lot about the community and the local businesses within it, even learning ways to grow personally and professionally.”

As Chair of the NEXT – Chamber’s Young Professionals group, Baatz led tours and visits of businesses and non-profits in the surrounding area, as well helped the group work on networking skills and education to expand group members’ personal and professional leadership and traits.

“At one point I was asked to join the planning committee to help come up with ideas for meetings and eventually this led to me being asked to serve as the Vice-Chair/Chair. It was an honor to serve in these roles and I believe I was able to accomplish a lot especially my year as Chair,” Baatz added. “I hope to still be a part of Chamber as I have built many connections and hope to keep learning from the different communities and meetings it has to offer.”
