Why we are Relaxin' for a Reason

Every Tuesday, St. Cloud Financial Credit Union employees and members relax for a reason to raise awareness and donations for a local non-profit or cause as part of our Relaxin’ for a Reason initiative.

Join SCFCU over the next few months in giving back to the surrounding communities and organizations throughout, including the two organizations we are highlighting currently.

Currently, we are highlighting Brenda’s Helping Hands NFP and The Wave Youth Center as our featured non-profits over the next few months.

Brenda’s Helping Hands NFP, located in St. Cloud, empowers communities and changes lives while creating opportunities for youth and young adults to enhance life skills, independent living, community access and employability. Through education, mentorship, and support, Brenda's Helping Hands NFP helps young adults navigate adulthood and achieve long-term success.

The Wave Youth Center, located in Big Lake, provides mentoring, skill-building activities, guest speakers, and a supportive social environment where young people feel safe, valued, and connected. It prioritizes mental health by offering on-site services, peer support groups, and open discussions, making well-being a central focus of our programs. It strives to not only empower youth but also create opportunities for community members to engage in meaningful, life-changing ways, helping to build a stronger and more connected community.
