SCFCU Promotes Diana Van Heuveln to Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development

St. Cloud Financial Credit Union is proud to announce the promotion of Diana Van Heuveln to Director of Human Resources and Organizational Development, a role she will begin in September.

Van Heuveln has more than 11 years of banking experience, nearly five of which have been spent at SCFCU. Van Heuveln’s time at SCFCU began in 2020 as an Assistant Branch Manager before she transitioned into her most recent role as Branch Manager of SCFCU’s flagship St. Cloud location.

In her new role, Van Heuveln’s leadership and passion will be extended throughout the organization as she leads efforts in training and organizational development. Her new responsibilities will be centered around culture, recruitment, retention and leadership training, among other things.

“Diana has exemplified our culture in every way possible since she first joined SCFCU. Her relentless focus on member experience is evident in everything that she does. Her commitment to employees and the organization is unquestioned. Her passion for financial literacy in the communities that we serve is infectious. All the while, she still manages to incorporate fun in everything that she does” said SCFCU Chief Financial Officer Franco Cusipag.” I can’t think of a better person to step into this position than Diana.”

Throughout her career, Van Heuveln has been deeply involved in the community through various volunteer efforts and financial literacy initiatives. Her contributions include work with Habitat for Humanity, Catholic Charities, Adopt-a-Pond clean-up drives and delivering financial education programs in the communities and schools across the counties we serve.

“SCFCU has been an incredible employer, providing numerous opportunities for growth and development. They are always open to new ideas and ways to improve. I am so proud to be part of a credit union that values innovation, creativity, and change. I work with employees who truly care about our members and their peers,” Van Heuveln said. “This new role allows me to support not just the St. Cloud Branch but all employees across the organization. I am excited to collaborate with our dedicated staff and leaders. We have a lot to accomplish, and I can't wait to start this journey. I look forward to this next phase in my career and am incredibly blessed and thankful for this opportunity.”

As Van Heuveln transitions into this new role, SCFCU will announce a new Branch Manager for the St. Cloud location in the coming weeks.
