Help Us Pack the Porches in Support of Catholic Charities
St. Cloud Financial Credit Union invites you to join us in the fight to help end hunger, create food security and improve nutrition in the St. Cloud area.
Throughout the month of March, SCFCU is partnering with Catholic Charities of the Diocese of St. Cloud and others across the St. Cloud area by hosting a Pack the Porches food and fund drive, benefiting Catholic Charities Emergency Services Food Shelf.
We invite you to bring nonperishable food items to donation boxes located at our SCFCU locations in St. Cloud, Sartell and Sauk Rapids now through Thursday, March 27. You can also donate funds online at ccstcloud.org/giving and through NetGiver, which gives 100% of your donation to the charity of your choice.
On Friday, March 28, collected food and funds can be brought to one of the following Pack the Porches drop-off locations:
St. Cloud Financial Credit Union, 1716 Pinecone Rd S, Sartell (south of Coborn’s)
Pioneer Place on Fifth, 22 5th Ave S, St. Cloud (across from the Red Carpet)
St. Cloud Hyundai, 900 2nd St S, Waite Park (across from Menards)
March is typically a challenging month for Minnesota food shelves, as the number of families being served the first months of the year and the amount of food going out the door is considerably greater than the amount of food coming in during the same period.
By donating to Catholic Charities Food Shelf during the Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign, donations stay local but count towards a statewide effort to help stock the shelves of every food shelf in the state.
Join us along with Catholic Charities to end Minnesota hunger and increase awareness of food insecurity within the St. Cloud area. Coborn’s is matching all food and fund donations up to $15,000 and Minnesota FoodShare is matching all donations as part of the Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign, now through April 6.
Thank you for helping us make the 15th annual Pack the Porches food and fund drive a great success!
