Alyce Justin Honored by MNCUN for Her Contributions to St. Cloud Financial Credit Union

Long-time St. Cloud Financial Credit Union employee Alyce Justin, who announced her retirement in March after a remarkable 45 years, has been honored for her contributions made within the credit union.

Justin was awarded with the Credit Union Builder Award from the Minnesota Credit Union Network Foundation on April 19 during the ACCELERATE 24 conference at the Mystic Lake Center in Prior Lake, Minnesota.

Created in 2008, the Credit Union Builder Award honors an individual’s dedication to success, growth, and vitality of the not-for-profit financial movement in Minnesota. Dedications are typically made at a special time of significance to acknowledge their contributions to credit unions.

“Alyce has been the heart and soul of our credit union and she has left an unforgettable mark on our entire industry. I can’t think of someone more deserving than Alyce for this Credit Union Builder Award,” said Jed Meyer, CEO of St. Cloud Financial Credit Union. “This honor is a testament to Alyce’s leadership, wisdom, and unwavering dedication she provided SCFCU with over her career.”

Over 90 individuals state-wide have received the Credit Union Builder Award since its inception. The names of the recipients and the contributing credit unions are permanently displayed in the Minnesota Credit Union Network’s lobby as a tribute to those who have dedicated time and energy to building the credit union movement.

Justin's journey with St. Cloud Financial Credit Union began in 1979, marking the inception of a remarkable career that has seen her rise from the teller line to the esteemed position of Executive Vice President — among many other roles. Throughout her tenure, Justin's unwavering dedication and commitment to excellence have been instrumental in shaping the growth and success of our credit union.

Justin’s list of achievements is extensive, from leading successful mergers to being an integral part of the groundbreaking remote conversion team. Her impact on St. Cloud Financial Credit Union and the wider community has been profound.
